Phonics
We teach using the Read Write Inc Scheme. All children in Year 2 have Phonics on a daily basis.
Children who receive Phonics are assessed on a 6 weekly basis, this assessment informs what group the children are in. Children will bring home a book each week, this links to the learning that they have received in their Phonics group during the week.
