Autumn Term 1

This half term we will be learning about the Romans invasion of Britain.  The reasons why they invaded.  How did the Britain's of the time respond to the invasion? Why was the Roman army so successful? What do artefacts tell us about life in Roman times? How did the Romans change modern Britain? 

Autumn Term 2

This half term we will be thinking about the question 'What does an architect do?'  The main focus will be taught through our art lessons which will be based on shape and sculpture.  The children will be drawing and making a 3D sculpture from card using 2D shapes.
